International Militaria.com hosts online auctions for buyers and sellers of militaria from all historical periods and countries, featuring WWI and WWII Allied and Axis militaria. This site was created with several goals in mind. First, we wanted to provide an alternative to all those other auction sites that demand fees at nearly every turn. If you've tried some of them, then you know what we mean - registration fees (even if you never buy!), buyer's fees, exorbitant commissions for sellers, membership subscription fees, newsletter fees, you name it, it will cost you. Just trying to find out how much all this costs is a challenge in itself on these sites. More often than not, you need to dig fairly deep to find this information buried somewhere in the depths of a website's pages. Our approach is different. Buyers pay no fees whatsoever, period. Basic listings for sellers are free, and no sale means no commission fees. Where an auction item is sold, seller's commission fees are very low compared to many auction sites and are clearly and simply explained on our Fees page. As auction sites grow in popularity around the world, so too has the number of con artists, and militaria auctions sites are no exception. Here at International Militaria.com we aim to quash fraudsters and we will remove any seller who comes to our attention trying to pass off fake items as genuine. After all, we are collectors too! While International Militaria.com does not discriminate against militaria items of any historical period, it is not a political forum and ideologies of same are not welcome from any quarter (see User Agreement for further information). Collecting genuine militaria is difficult enough and politics is better left to 'politicians'.
