Description |
I think the detail on this badge is outstanding. It may be a privately made piece. The badge has great detail. This catch does not look like a Third Reich catch. However, after doing some research I found a manufacture in Vienna, Austria (Hauptmunzamt Wein) that uses this type of catch. Examples can be seen in M. Tuckers book (Cambat Badges of the Third Reich) pages 231 & 251 so this badge is a war time piece.
